Horn of Africa Photo Exhibition
One year ago, in July 2011 famine was declared in the Horn of Africa. Crops failed, livestock died and HUNGER was on the rise. Families fled in search of food and water – many never finding it. The worst drought in 60 YEARS had arrived. International help has been essential to the survival of the victims of the drought.

These photos show a snapshot of life in Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya, demonstrating how WFP and the EU have responded and how they continue to assist the people who live there.
