Institución Futuro is a private independent non-profit centre of socioeconomic research that studies the development of the regions in the long term in order to inspire future action plans. Likewise, the think tank works as an observatory, detecting and applying in Spain the most outstanding trends from the knowledge society.
The organization analyses areas such as foreign investment, taxation and innovation, tax freedom day, entrepreneurial spirit, strategic prospective, health services’ quality and immigration. Institución Futuro edits various periodical publications such as Tendencias de Futuro, a compilation of diverse ideas and investigations from worldwide think tanks, and Sinopsis de Opinión, an online newsletter with the best opinion articles from the Spanish media. Moreover, the institution organizes conferences and specialized seminars with the most outstanding Spanish economists.
