The European Centre is a non-profit and independent organisation, founded in January 1999. Its mission is to contribute to the information and knowledge of the European realities and support the process of European integration of Albania.
Its main goals are:
- Dissemination and promotion of knowledge and comprehension of the European reality, European values and European organizations, which comprises democracy, rule of law, good governance and human rights;
- Research, studies and drafting of policy proposals and alternatives in relation to the European integration of Albania and its international affairs;
- Offering of capacity-building trainings, assistance and advises to all public or private, national and foreign bodies in relation to European issues;
- Establishing and facilitating contacts and cooperation among European and Albanian partners or networks in different fields of activity.
