I hear everywhere (train, streets, dubious news sources) that Global Warming can't be happening... "look at this weather we're having!"

I doubt that anyone reading this site needs to be told what Global Warming truly means, but I'm going to post this anyway.

The term Global Warming doesn't mean warmer weather (although it will get slightly warmer by the time we may be too late to reverse the damage done); It means that the earth's atmosphere is getting warmer as well as the temperature of the oceans. When this occurs, weather becomes unstable. And this is exactly what we are experiencing today.

Global Warming causes temperatures in the atmosphere and that of the oceans to increase (not temperatures in Brussels or Las Vegas) which in turn causes ocean levels to rise and thus unstable (and sometimes extreme) weather patterns to emerge.

We have been witnessing this for a while now and it is important that "the man on the street" gets his facts right. All of us should be doing our bit and none of us should be shrugging our shoulders . That, we have done for far too long!
