About the event

A second EU-China Summit is scheduled to take place later this year. Following the Summit held in Prague in May 2009, at which the global economic and financial crisis, climate change and energy security as well as an exchange of views on regional issues (Korean Peninsula, Myanmar, Iran, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Pakistan) took place, the leaders will once again convene under the Swedish Presidency of the EU in Beijing before the end of the year.
