Jordi Vaquer talks with Shashi Tharoor
Last January 16th, 2010, CIDOB organised in Barcelona a new edition of its annual international conference War and Peace for the 21st Century,
under the title of “A new Multilateralism for a Multipolar world”. One
of the participants was the Indian Minister Mr. Shashi Tharoor. CIDOB's director, Jordi Vaquer, asked him a few questions about different aspects of India’s emerging role in the international arena.
Shashi Tharoor is the Minister of State for External Affairs of India. He served previously as UN Under-Secretary General for Communications and Public Information, under Secretary-General Kofi Annan. He is also a prolific author, columnist, journalist and human-rights advocate.
