In his keynote address, H.E. Song Zhe, Ambassador and Chief of the Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the EU, said: “This summit sends out an important message: In the face of the profound changes in the international economic, financial and political systems, China and the EU find their common interests broadening rather than narrowing.”

'Doing business with China: Looking ahead to the next decade' was the first in a series of high-level Policy Summits within the three-year Understanding China programme that is co-organised by Friends of Europe and EUROCHAMBRES and co-funded by the European Commission.
