The report first summarizes the seminar Flexicurity – a labour market model for Europe? That SOLIDAR organized together with Danish member Fagligt Internationalt Center (FIC) on 2 October 2008. The aims of the seminar were to discuss the labour market reform under flexicurity. The sessions of the seminar covered the following topics:
• The challenges on the European labour market
• The Danish social welfare and labour market model
• The European labour market models.
Secondly, it contains a Policy Briefing on Flexicurity and thirdly presents the SOLIDAR Position on Labour Law Reforms and Flexicurity.
